Sushi at the Lake too: Experience Freshness and Flavor in Mooresville

Started with some edamame. It was a tasty treat, cooked just right and not too salty. Highly recommend this if you're a fan of edamame. I ordered the Hibachi Filet with Fried Rice. It was delicious! Under the advice of my cousin, I added some of the dark ginger sauce to my fried rice...and it added a flavor boost to the already flavor-filled side item. I normally add yum-yum sauce to the fried rice, but this is worth the try. We are visiting from out of town, but if you live here in Mooresville and have NOT been here, you owe it to yourself to give it a try.

I brought my daughter here for her birthday and it was definitely worth it. Service was wonderful and everyone was friendly. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The food was amazing!!

Went here for the first time a couple of weeks ago & it was delicious! Extremely clean and excellent service. They have great lunch specials & I opted for the Bento box, it was delicious! Great amount of food & incredible options. I look forward to going back again!

This is one of our favorite places for a quick lunch or date night. The service is always very friendly, orders are always correct, food is delicious. Love that they are always willing to recommend a new dish and they are always our new favorite! We have a whole list of favs now

Always a great meal no matter what time or what day you eat here! I've been enjoying their food since the original Sushi @ the Lake was open. You just can't go wrong.

One of our favorite places to eat in Mooresville! Sad we can only visit on trips back to NC after our move to TN. Perhaps it's time to grow the business and open a location in Knoxville! Just a thought. The service level is always top notch! Dana treats us like family, spends time with us during our visits, and makes us feel truly appreciated. Moon is the best, great to see him and chit-chat during dinner. A great place to eat, fresh sushi, plenty of options, and excellent hibachi meals.

Not bad for Mooresville but a bit short of being the best in town. You can apparently order nigiri a la carte, but there was no printed list available when I went in. "We have everything except X, and Y" Everything? What's that mean, every fish in the sea? The freshness of the ingredients is a bit above average, and the chefs behind the sushi counter pretty clearly knew what they were doing with preparation. The house clear soup is simple, but not bad. It actually had some dashi flavor to it, which is more than I can say about a lot of places in the area. Overall vibe and atmosphere are unremarkable.

Went to Sushi By the Lake Too in Mooresville tonight for the first time. Great service, clean location, yummy food. Loved, loved, loved the spicy edamame appetizer and the two rolls I ordered were substantial, fresh and delicious. Big Bang and Sparkplug rolls. Our server Taylor was exceptional! Answered questions, made recommendations, on top of the drinks and dishes, friendly and professional. Will definitely go back.
